a few things have happened since october 21.

since my last post:

james took some engagement photos.
the one and only james besser came to dallas and we took a trip down memory lane by going back the exact spot with zachary proposed. it was so special and so perfect.

i love him.

he loves me.

we love one another.

the middle sister turned 30! november 3, 2012 was the day.
we celebrated with a feast full of breakfast favorites (pictured below). ty was so surprised and it was a fantastic morning with friends and family. 
so glad i was able to take off work at the last minute and make it to town.

zach and i went to get our marriage license!
z and i finished our premarital (online) course and were ready to makes things legit. we got a discount for finishing our class so we definitely wanted to take advantage of the savings. 
getting that piece of paper was so surreal.

officially official.

thanksgiving was celebrated in the hill country.
my family and i stayed at a friend's lakehouse on lake lbj. the kids did some fishing, branum smoked a ridiculous amount of brisket for the wedding, the ladies did a few last-minute crafts. there was no traditional thanksgiving meal, but it was a perfect transition into wedding-palooza.

the year 20-13 began.
thankfully, 12.21.12 did not take us. i never really thought it would, but sometimes played along as a joke. there are no photos from our big new year's eve festivities because i was in recovery mode (in other words, asleep!) from the crazy busy fall//winter.
