wedding day was crazy busy. so busy that we neglected to take all of the family photos we were supposed to. sooooo, we gathered the family together during the christmas holiday and made some things happen.

z loves to dance. i do not. 

however, i love my boo and our first dance was perfect!

in all honesty, as we got closer to the wedding, z and i had come to the decision that we wanted the evening to be relaxed and fun. there are different types of weddings.. weddings where you party hard and others where you take it easy. our ultimate vision was more towards the latter. we wanted people to hang out by the fire, roast some marshmallows, drink hot chocolate and catch up.

although i am guilty of requesting (many, many times!) that we elope, i am so glad that we got to share our moment with loved ones. our destination, holiday weekend wedding surprised us. people came from near and far just to be with us as we said "i do".. it was incredible to feel that kind of love and support.

thank you to all that made the trek. we are so blessed.

what a whirlwind weekend. after months of preparation (z might say years), it all went by in a flash. we are married! now i just have to change my name. if only updating my facebook and email signature made it official with the government.
